I joined the Clayton-Bush Lab in the fall of 2021 to pursue my interest in the evolutionary biology and ecology of birds. I have been attending the University of Utah since fall of 2020 and am currently pursuing my honors B.S. in Biology with a minor in Ecology and Legacy. I grew up birdwatching from the back seat of my grandparents' car on road trips and have always been fascinated by the natural world, especially the diversity and behavior of living organisms. I first developed a love of field work during a summer internship studying the Farmington Bay, Jordan River, and Utah Lake ecosystems with the Wasatch Front Water Quality Council. Currently, I am working on a project analyzing the anti-parasite behavior of raptors. In my free time, I enjoy drawing, hiking, and playing video games on my Switch.
