Nicole Amedee - Undergraduate Student I received my B.S. from the University of Utah in May 2024. During my undergrad, I worked on several projects with the lab pertaining to the anti-parasite behavior of birds. I decided to stay with the lab to pursue my PhD, where I am studying grooming behavior in American kestrels. I find grooming fascinating because of the variation that exists in this behavior and its relationship to fitness. I am excited to investigate factors that underlie variation in grooming and its heritable basis, as well as learn more about animal behavior and disease ecology broadly. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, making art, and playing video games.
